Setting The Stage: The Discovery Channel Uses American DJ Fog Machines For Special Effects in "Storm Warning"

Special effects from American DJ have been setting the mood in clubs for year, now theyre working their magic on the TV screen too. Producers of the upcoming movie "Storm Warning" on the Discovery Channel have selected American DJ high-output fog machines to create extreme fog conditions during critical scenes in the film. The film is based on a true story involving a father/son pilot team navigating their way across Lake Michigan. As they fly across the large body of water, they suddenly find themselves trapped in a dense fog. Unable to navigate in such extreme fog conditions, their aircraft plunges into the frigid waters. The dramatic story unfolds as the aircraft is reported missing and the Coast Guard is notified. Using a special ship, the Zodiac, the Coast Guard slices through the fog and expedites a search and rescue mission. Because of their strength and durability, the five American DJ fog machines used were able to produce an atmosphere that captured the true essence of that terrifying night. From a dense fog that enveloped the aircraft, to the thick haze that forced the Coast Guard to send a special ship, the American DJ foggers effectively recreated the intense scenery.
