American DJ special effects lighting shines on millions of people each year at the new, upscale Rumba Room Nightclub. Located at the entrance to Universal Studios, California, The Rumba Room features American DJ lights throughout its 12,000 sq. ft, 2 story nightclub. Universal Studios hosts approximately 10 million people each year, and the upscale Rumba Room is attracting a large share of that entertainment population every night. American DJ helps The Rumba Rooms salsa-style atmosphere sizzle by producing an extravagant light show created by over fifty of their innovative lighting products. The main floor sizzles with an energetic salsa-type beat, while the upstairs is divided into two distinct rooms. One room features pop music, and the other plays an Espanol beat. A large variety of American DJ lights are projected throughout the club and are programmed to enhance all types of music, creating an electrifying atmosphere. To provide this unique club with such lighting intensity, the following American DJ fixtures were chosen for the package installed at The Rumba Room: 4 Avengers, 14 Scramblers, 4 X-Cess, 2 H20, 24 Par-56, 1 Raven, and 1 Shadow. Club Rumba also chose 5 DP DMX 20L dimmer controls to help accent an electrifying light show. Not only did The Rumba Room choose a powerhouse lighting package, they also took advantage of a special gobo feature offered by the Scrambler. The Scrambler is a multi-colored gobo projecter that allows a specific clubs custom logo to be projected as one of their gobo patterns. In this case, The Rumba Room choose 4 Scramblers to project their exclusive logo all over the place. Along with multi-color beams and gobos, The Rumba Room choose some more unusual effects. For example, the H20 is a brand new effect that projects an image of smooth, flowing water. The H20s rippling water effect is perfect for mood background lighting. When combined with a tranquil Latin beat, the H20 can create an exotic tropical atmosphere for the slow dance set.
